Juan
Thank you very much for your feedback.
I think we have a lot to talk in London.
Also thanks for clarifying the colors book question from Shigeta-san.
Best Regards
Osvaldo

Dear Oswaldo,
You are right in saying that avoiding duplication and maximizing synergies
across the areas should be part of the strategy.
The CESG has recently updated an old list of potential or identified
duplications and this shall be an input to our discussion in London. I will
ask Nestor to distribute it to the CMC now so that e can reflect on it and
come to London with proposals for solution.
The presentation, in chart 41, only depicts the links that are explicitly
mentioned in the Strategic Plan document. The ones you mention (video, audio,
DTN, robotics) are relevant for the big picture we are trying to put together
and we should ask the area directors / WG chairs to be exhaustive in
identifying them in the Strategic Plan (update) or provide this input so that
we can complete the diagram in the presentation.
The points you make of synergy between human spaceflight and the wireless WG
should be escalated to the Area Directors and CESG for resolution. Also the
ground network planning and scheduling CCSDS standards, their possible
extension to humAn spaceflight and the sharing of the corresponding tools
across the Space Agencies are strategic points to be addressed at CESG level
first and if not resolved escalated to the CMC. This is all good stuff for
the discussion on strategy planned in the CMC meeting in London.
I hope I have addressed all your points and invite the other CMC members to
provide their feedback on these points also.
Regards
Juan
