Dear Mike-san,

Thank you for adding me to the CMC mailing list. Now that I am on it, I
would like to reply to you directly.

I perfectly understood that we should not move the agency reports to the
first day due to time constraints on CESG members. I do appreciate that
you have taken an effort to consult with the CESG chairman upon my request.

My main intention is to facilitate rich communication with other
participants by learning about their input(Agency Report) in advance.
Being a non-native of English, this would help me prepare myself.
Therefore, I would still appreciate if the materials of agency reports
can be uploaded on the CMC website, preferable, by Thursday in the prior
week of CMC meeting.

For your information, currently, even though my budgeting tasks for the
next fiscal year is overflowing, I am making utmost efforts to be able
to attend CMC in April.

Regards --- Shigeta

> Kimura-san, thanks very much for your suggestion. Ideally, I also agree that it would be good to have the agency reports at the beginning of the meeting. However, the problem is that the agenda is based on two principals... (1) The SC13 meeting is in the middle of the week to insure needed attendance by SC13 representatives, and (2) Items that require CESG attendance are at the end of the meeting so that CESG attendees can leave early. After I saw your note, I experimented with putting the agency reports on the first day, but the only way to do that was a "ripple effect" that required CESG members to stay until noon on Wednesday. Right now, they stay only until noon on Tuesday, because they are not required for the Agency reports.

Learning about them on the first day would facilitate me(us) understand the whole picture of each agenda in advance so that we can be ready enough for the discussion. Another advantage is that it would enhance the quality of our conversations that might take place during our stay.
