Peter,

ESA will analyse the possible evolution of the Space Comms architecture in a
time frame up to 2025. A Task Force has been created and is addressing:
   evaluation of Mission Model
   Frequencies
   Bit rate
   Modulation and Coding
   Interoperability issues
   IP in space

Status to be presented at IOAG-11. Goal is to have a final concept and
architecture by Feb 2008. Integration Plan needs to be discussed.
