Please note that Mr. John Pietras has been appointed as 
Deputy Chair of the Service Management Working Group.

The CESG,

CONSIDERING  that the CSS Area Director has recommended 
the appointment of Mr. John Pietras as Deputy Chair of the 
Service Management Working Group;

and ACKNOWLEDGING that CESG confirmation is required for 
approval of Working Group Chairs and Deputy Chairs;

AUTHORIZES the appointment of Mr. John Pietras as Deputy 
Chair of the Service Management Working Group.

Results of CESG poll beginning 8 March 2007 and ending 21 
March 2007:

  Approve Unconditionally:  6 (85.71%) (Peccia, Barkley, 
Plancke, Gerner, Moury, Durst)
  Approve with Conditions:  1 (14.29%) (Shames)
  Disapprove with Comment:  0 (0%)

CONDITIONS/COMMENTS:

      Peter Shames (Approve with Conditions):  Concern 
that John is now intended to be both the SMWG deputy chair 
and the sole JPL contributor to the CSTS WG.  In order for 
this to work there will need to be some coordination of 
schedules of these two WGs.
