Please be aware that it is now very probable that the "Fall 2006" CCSDS
meeting will NOT be held in San Diego, but will be moved to Colorado
Springs, Colorado, USA. The primary reason for this is the extreme
difficulty of finding affordable hotel accommodation in San Diego.

The dates of the main CCSDS meeting are now proposed to be TUESDAY 16
January through SATURDAY 20 January, 2007, with the CESG meeting on 23-24
January and the CMC-ISO meeting on 25-26 January. (The meeting facility is
not available on Mondays). The best-guess of the proposed schedule is as
follows:

15 Jan: Wireless workshop (offsite location)
16-19 Jan: CCSDS WG meetings
20 Jan: CCSDS WG meetings (AM)
20 Jan: Area Plenaries (PM)
23 Jan: CESG meeting
24 Jan: CESG/CMC meeting
25-26 Jan: CMC meeting
26 Jan: ISO (PM)

NASA's preliminary plan is for the AIAA to host the meeting in the Penrose
House at the southern end of Colorado Springs,
http://www.elpomar.org/page.asp?pageid=0|6|51&id=0|penrose_house, which is
where ISO/TC20/SC14 met in May 2006.

THIS INFORMATION IS FOR YOUR PRELIMINARY PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS
SUBJECT TO CHANGE, SINCE NASA HAS NOT YET FINALIZED THE HOSTING ARRANGEMENTS.

Best regards
Adrian
