Debbie Ronning is currently checking with the OMG people to verify that we
can get the meeting room for 06-08 April and 12-13 April to accommodate the
CESG and CMC. As soon as we hear, I expect that the CMC chair will announce
the decision.

There is, of course, another "experiment" going on in Athens - and that is
to see if giving all of our meeting hosting arrangements to the OMG works
or not. It is thus even more important for the CMC members to be present
during the technical meeting week, to judge if you are satisfied with this
arrangement. Nominally, we are supposed to meet again jointly with them in
Atlanta, USA, from 12-16 September. So the CMC should form a first-hand
opinion in Athens as to whether we think this will work well in the future.

OK, you raise a good point. Do you think that it would help if we arranged
some kind of "mid-term teleconference" in between the face-to-face
meetings? Or should the entire CMC cycle be shifted so that the CMC itself
meets half-way between the technical meetings, instead of at the meeting
site? That would also have the advantage of allowing the hosting cycle to
resume its past rotation among the Member agencies.
