Subject: [CMC] E-Mail Ballot for Restructured Recommendations
Dear CCSDS Management Council Members:
At the April 2003 meeting, the CMC resolved the following:
CMC-S03-R01. The CMC resolves to initiate an e-mail ballot for agency
approval of the series of Panel 1 restructured documents [listed below, with
their respective locations] after review by the CESG for technical
consistency.
The CESG has deemed these documents to be technically consistent, and the CESG
has requested that the Secretariat poll the CMC for approval to publish them
as CCSDS Recommendations.
Please respond to this e-mail ballot no later than Monday, September 22. The
compressed ballot deadline is necessary in order to publish these documents in
time for them to be included on the latest version of the CCSDS CD-ROM
containing current Recommendations and Reports. In the event that a CMC
member cannot approve these Recommendations by September 22, the ballot
deadline will be extended; however, these Recommendations will then be
withheld from the new CD-ROM.

consistent. Publication of Part 1 is contingent upon removal of the last two
bulleted items in subsection B3.1, and the complete removal of subsections
B3.4 and B3.5. These subsections have been removed.
