Dear CCSDS Management Council Members:

Please review the proposed CCSDS Management Council Resolution below and=20
respond with your approval (adopt the Resolution) or disapproval (reject=20
the Resolution) no later than September 22, 2003. Failure to respond by=20
September 22, 2003 will be construed by the Secretariat to indicate your=20
approval of the proposed Resolution.

Proposed Resolution:

"MC-E03-03. The CCSDS resolves to issue the approve the following revised=20
Reports for publication as Issue 2 Green Books:

CCSDS File Delivery Protocol (CFDP)=97Part 1:  Introduction and=20
Overview.  CCSDS 720.1-G-1.1.

CCSDS File Delivery Protocol (CFDP)=97Part 2:  Implementers Guide.  CCSDS=20
720.2-G-1.1.

The Secretariat is requested to make arrangements for publication."

Please note that the CESG has deemed these draft Reports to be technically=
=20
consistent.  Publication of Part 1 is contingent upon removal of the last=20
two bulleted items in subsection B3.1, and the complete removal of=20
subsections B3.4 and B3.5.  These subsections have been removed.
