Subject: Friendly reminder: SANA registry "registry export of keywords" now hidden behind login screen
Many published NavWG standards use SANA registry to storage of normative keyword values (when warranted due to quantity, dynamics). There used to be an “Action” tab in the registry page where you could export the accepted normative values to help with computer implementation and validation.
I understand that there may have been some DoS issues affecting SANA, and in their response to it, this export capability was moved inside of the login screen, so unless you have a SANA account, you cannot export the keyword values. I don’t think that we want every CCSDS standards user to have to ask for a SANA account.
So at the moment, many of our standards don’t work regarding the export of keyword values.
We discussed with Michel (SANA) and he is aware of the issue. We thought of a couple of ways that this could be fixed.
But we don’t want to have to fix all of our standards to address this issue; better to amend SANA to fix it.
