[CESG] BETA Test for the New CCSDS Polling System

I'm glad to hear the new system is well received.

One of the things Brian and I have added to the future development queue for the polling system is the possibility of a user voting twice. Since we are using a modified SharePoint list we don't have an off the shelf option, but there are a couple ideas we've talked about. Voting twice was possible in the old system too but it rarely happened. When it did, Tech Support would remove one response if they were identical and if not the same, contact the voter before removing a vote. With the new polling system, users have the option to delete their response as well.

Hi Michael,

I took it for a quick spin.  I like it. For the one prototype vote I cast it seems better than the old system.  I like that I did not have to indicate which AD role I have (always seemed kind of weird that I could choose a different AD and cause havoc with the voting) as that was automatically selected for me.  One thing I did note is that it will let me vote more than once - this does show up on the list of votes cast, so that maybe something to look into.

The user interface is very similar to the previous system, but we have attached user guides for casting your votes. We have also included a "What's New" guide highlighting the improvements in this BETA system. We recognize that some of the requested features for the polling system have not been fully realized in this release. We have recorded all requested features and added them to our development queue for implementation in the future.

We would like CMC and CESG members to review the system by 2/4/2022.
