[CESG] Resolution SOIS-WIR-R-2020-06-01 SOIS-WIR Liaison to the Wi-Fi Alliance

  Can you please start at your earliest convenience the related CESG Poll for Resolution SOIS-WIR-R-2020-06-01 below. 

The Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services (SOIS),

Onboard Wireless Working Group, SOIS-WIR,

CONSIDERING that the Onboard Wireless Working Group, SOIS-WIR, has:
 
*         Established a technical advisory relationship with the international industry interoperable standards testing entity, the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA), and
 
*         reached consensus regarding the value of leveraging the Wi-Fi Alliance Certification process for interoperable Wi-Fi based proximity wireless network communications,
 
RESOLVES to request CESG to approve the request for a SOIS-WIR Liaison to the Wi-Fi Alliance, to approve the nomination of Chatwin Lansdowne, NASA-JSC, as the CCSDS SOIS-WIR Liaison to the WFA, and

RECOMMENDS that the CESG ratify the Liaison position request and approve the nomination of Chatwin Lansdowne, NASA-JSC, as the CCSDS SOIS-WIR Liaison to the WFA, and finally

REQUESTS that CESG  poll be conducted to accomplish this.
