Hello Mario,

As you are the CCSDS liaison, I believe it is best if you coordinate any CCSDS response to the OMG. As such, I have not replied to the OMG RFP.  I think any response (be it via RFP or otherwise) can indicate to OMG that CCSDS is already well along in addressing the scope of the RFP.  To add a bit more specificity to my response yesterday, the CCSDS recommendations that already address the OMG RFP are CCSDS 902.1-B-1 ("Simple Schedule Format") and CCSDS 902.9-B-1 ("Service Management Request Utilization Format").   To be clear, these are not yet published  -- as noted in yesterday's email 902.1 will be have a CESG publication poll soon (this spring), and 902.9 will have its first agency review by late this year.

The CSS Area has already addressed the scope of the RFP and has a recommendation (Schedule format) that will be in CESG poll very shortly that addresses the majority of this proposal's scope.  The remainder of the scope of the OMG RFP is addressed in a recommendation that will likely see agency review this year (this is basically a request format).
