Hi Gippo,
I found the same problem when I did my research.  Perhaps we need to both 
state that we are using the IEEE conventions AND also put the frequencies 
in GHz as well as the band identifiers.  That must be unambiguous. 
Would you agree?

Peter, 
        you attached the following table for frequency bands, however my 
frequency guru (i.e. Enrico Vassallo) always warns me about using bands 
named with letters as this is not unique.
As you can see e.g. at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_spectrum there 
are clear difference between IEEE (compliant with your table, I think), 
ITU, and EU, NATO, US ECM frequency designations.
