[CESG] Question on the CWE on-line Strategic Plan

Ciao Nestor,

Our policy with regard to WG charters and projects has for a long time been that they get CESG and CMC review and approval. This, is of course, tied to resources and commitments, so there must be some sort of oversight.

The goals as expressed in the Strategic Plan have also been subject to CESG and CMC review. It seems logical to me that we would continue with that practice, since it is one of the ways that we continue to shape and manage the work that CCSDS does.

The tricky part is that we now have this on-line system for managing all of this but it is not clear that we have any sort of audit trail, draft / published release practice, nor controls on who can make changes. I think this points to a need to have some added "web site machinery" that will allow us to continue to manage the process.

Regards, Peter

Subject: [CESG] Question on the CWE on-line Strategic Plan

Dear all,

I would like to get your opinion

Are the WG chairs free to edit their goals and links to those goals at anytime in the CWE on-line strategic plan without approval of the AD?
Or are we going to lock down the Area Content only for ADs / DADs ?
Do we<http://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/sp/Lists/SEAContent/AllItems.aspx> leave the Links (that point to the goals) open for updates ?
