[CESG] Re: [CMC] CMC comments to CESG CCSDS Strategic plan

Dear Nestor,

please find my comments on the CMC Strategic Plan in the attached file. Most
of my comments focus on the Area Strategic Goals; In reviewing this document
I have also tried to establish its coherence with the actual workplan; this
has led me to raise a number of questions and comments.

Some of the clarifications and enhancements I am requesting are not strictly
speaking related to this document but to the need to produce a CCSDS
strategic  roadmap (a sort of tactical plan) which is essential to present
where the work in the different CCSDS areas is going. This subject has been
discussed in the CMC under the name CCSDS strategy "Big Picture" in the past
3 CMC meetings and latest in a dedicated Webex-conference on 3rd of April. I
am attaching a presentation of this topic in order to clarify the background.

I suggest you organise a session in Bordeaux at the CESG level to discuss the
Strategy plan comments and also the strategic roadmap needs and we can then
discuss it the week after during the CMC meetings with your feedback.
