Not my strong suit but looks ok to me.

There is a sentence: ¡°Note: The Earth relay is excluded in the initial study,¡± that I find interesting in case it hints at later multi-hop work.

Subject: IOAG: AI 15b-02: ToR for LEO 26GHz Study Group

Dear IOAG Delegates and liaisons,

at our last meeting in Stockholm, the action in reference was opened to draft a charter for a new sub-committee of IOAG on the utilization of Ka-band for the return of mission data with LEO satellites.

An answer to this action was provided with the TOR's for a LEO26SG : This is the attached document that I submit to you with the following questions:

1 - approval and / or comments to the proposed ToR;
2 - candidates from your agency to co-chair the group;
3 - nomination of participants from your agency.

As there are multiple questions, an e-poll on this subject doesn't seem appropriate to collect your feedback in a timely maneer. Also, liaisons are welcome to comment on the outcomes of this group that could be of interest for their community (CCSDS, SFCG¡¦).
You are then invited to answer the present email before July 27, with your replies to the above questions.

Of course, additional participants may join later if you need more time for assignment.

Please note that, in the meantime :
- I have authorized the LEO26SG to start the work defined on the first step of the TOR, to save time and with the participants already nominated by the assignees of the action 15b-02 (DLR, ESA, NASA). The changes that may be requested after your responses will be taken into account upon reception.
- interim co-chairs were appointed to initiate the first activities: Ricard Abello (ESA) ; TBD (NASA - agreed but name not communicated); confirmation of co-chairs will be in august, after we know the list of candidates.
- experts from outside IOAG are welcome to contribute to the LEO26SG ; e.g. : NOAA and EUMETSAT already confimed interest and participation.

Make sure the IOAG secretariat is informed of your replies so that they are relayed to the relevant personnels.
Best regards
