[CESG] Revisions to SEA-R-2011-03-003 and 004 resolutions

SEA-R-2011-03-003:
The System Engineering Area,

CONSIDERING that the INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE (SEA-IA) WG
has shown a low level of activity in the last 1.5 years
, and

CONSIDERING that the planned schedule of activities / goals have been continuously shifted, and

RECOGNIZING that this is due to the lack of resources and interest of several Agencies, and

RECOGNIZING that members of the group have successfully constructed an international group outside CCSDS to develop standards in this area, and

RECOGNIZING that an Area Director usually recommends the closing of working groups, as appropriate, therefore


RECOMMENDS that the CCSDS Engineering Steering Group:

 *   thank the IA WG members for their services, and
 *   initiate the required CESG poll to approve the closure of the IA WG

SEA-R-2011-03-004:
The System Engineering Area,
CONSIDERING that the CESG
has expressed negative interest in supporting the creation of the Information Service Architecture WG
, and


RECOGNIZING that this is due to the lack of resources and interest of several Agencies, and

RECOGNIZING that an Area Director has responsibility for requesting a poll to open working groups, therefore



REQUESTS that the CESG polling process requested by resolution SEA-R-2011-03-001 be abandoned forthwith.
