[CESG] Resolution SLS-R-2011-02-003, 123.0-R-1 Lossless Multispectral & Hyperspectral Image Compression

The Space Link services Area,

CONSIDERING
that the Multispectral Hyperspectral Data Compression (MHDC) WG has 
produced a version of the 123.0 book representing the consensus of the WG 
on a method for lossless compression of multispectral and hyperspectral 
image data and a format for storing the compressed data.

RECOGNIZING
that the proposed method is compatible with other CCSDS Protocols as e.g. 
Space Packet, CFDP, AOS, etc.

RESOLVES to request CESG/CMC to approve the submission of the draft 
recommended standard 123.0- R-0 Lossless Multispectral & Hyperspectral 
Image Compression to Agency Review

RECOMMENDS that the CESG approve this resolution and, and finally

REQUESTS that a CESG poll be conducted to accomplish this.
