[CESG] RE: SOIS Plug-and-Play

Adrian, this was actually agreed some time ago at the CESG where I raised
this issue of a new working group on P&P versus incorporating P&P into the
existing charter. The decision taken was to update the charter but alas it
was never actioned. So yes the existing APs WG charter will be updated.

Subject: [Sois-app] Future Mailing List Usage on SOIS Plug-and-Play

Dear SOISers,

It has rightly been pointed out that the Plug-and-Play discussion threads are
being sent to too many of the SOIS mailing lists, so that everyone is
receiving multiple postings and threads are being tangled.

To rectify this, I propose to only use the SOIS-APP mailing lists in future
as the plug-and-play work is being performed under the auspices of the
Application Support Services WG. (FYI the SOIS-OPP mailing list refers to the
now defunct Onboard Plug-and-Play BoF – the BoF was successful in defining
the charter updates to the APP WG and therefore is defunct).

For all those who are not subscribed to the SOIS-APP mailing list but wish to
participate in the plug-and-play discussions please could you subscribe (here
is a link to the appropriate CCSDS webpage
