Action 1.3 CT/SF to check charter is up-to-date, due date 19/04/2011.

 

At this stage, it is not yet clear exactly how the Electronic Data
Sheets will pan out in Magenta/Blue/etc books, given the need for common
data dictionaries, device class-specific standard EDS, etc.

 

So, whilst we will ensure the charter reflects this work, an exhaustive
and unchanging list of books is not possible (yet).

Subject: [Sois-app] Future Mailing List Usage on SOIS Plug-and-Play

 

Dear SOISers,

 

It has rightly been pointed out that the Plug-and-Play discussion
threads are being sent to too many of the SOIS mailing lists, so that
everyone is receiving multiple postings and threads are being tangled.

 

To rectify this, I propose to only use the SOIS-APP mailing lists in
future as the plug-and-play work is being performed under the auspices
of the Application Support Services WG. (FYI the SOIS-OPP mailing list
refers to the now defunct Onboard Plug-and-Play BoF - the BoF was
successful in defining the charter updates to the APP WG and therefore
is defunct).

 

For all those who are not subscribed to the SOIS-APP mailing list but
wish to participate in the plug-and-play discussions please could you
subscribe (here is a link to the appropriate CCSDS webpage
http://mailman.ccsds.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sois-app).
