[Cesg-all] Improvements to CCSDS Project System Notifications and Status Categories

Dear CESG-All,

We have recently implemented enhancements to the CCSDS Project system. As you know, any new project created for a Working Group must be approved by the CMC via a poll. Once a Draft Project meets the required dates and resource criteria, and the “Request CMC Poll” button is selected (typically by the Working Group Chair or Area Director), the system now automatically triggers the email shown below.

This email is sent to Tech Support (where a help desk ticket is automatically created and tracked internally), and it now also CCs the Requestor, Working Group Chair, Working Group Deputy, Area Director, and Deputy Area Director.

Previously, the notification was only sent to myself and Laura Stafford. This update significantly improves transparency and tracking of requests.

Additionally, we are working to restore functionality for the two status categories in the project system:

Project Status and Project Phase.

These categories have not been functioning correctly since the CCSDS CWE migration earlier this year. We expect to have the calculations restored and working properly in the near future.
