[Cesg-all] [Response Required] CCSDS Spring 2023 Technical Meeting - Huntsville, AL - Poll WG Chairs

Dear CESG-All Members,

As we prepare for the Spring 2023 Technical Meetings in Huntsville, Alabama, the CCSDS Secretariat needs to compile a meeting schedule that will accommodate the needs of each Area, WG, BoF, or SSG who plans to meet in person. The CCSDS Technical Meetings will be a 5 Day event from May 8-12, 2023.

The Secretariat believes it is best to poll the CESG-All to request the needs of each group that will be meeting. This will allow us to better schedule and assign rooms as well as virtual tools needed based on the needs and number of participating.

If you are a Chairperson, please respond to me by Tuesday, March 7, 2023, with the following information about your group's requirements.


  *   Who is meeting?: CCSDS Optical Comm Working Group
  *   When would you like to meet?: Starting Monday Afternoon and Ending Wednesday Afternoon.
  *   Estimate of the number of In-Person Attendees?: 25

The Secretariat will then process the requests and assign rooms based on the identified needs. The plan is for online meeting registration to be deployed by Thursday, March 16, 2023.

In the meantime, the Secretariat is preparing the CCSDS Public website with the appropriate logistical information about the meetings and plans to have that deployed no later than Monday, March 13, 2023.

We have attached a presentation from NASA Marshall Space Flight Center that provides information about the upcoming meetings. Also attached is the last meeting schedule for the Fall 2022 Technical Meetings.
