[Cesg-all] Fall 2022 CCSDS Technical Meeting Schedule Requests - Need Input

Dear CESG-All Members,

As we prepare for the in-person Fall 2022 Technical Meetings in Toulouse, France, the CCSDS Secretariat needs to compile a meeting schedule that will accommodate the needs of each Area, WG, BoF, or SSG who plans to meet in person. The CCSDS Technical Meetings will be a 5 Day event from October 17 - 21.

Since CCSDS has not met in person since the Fall of 2019, the Secretariat believes it is best to poll the CESG-All to request the needs of each group that is meeting. This will allow us to better schedule and assign rooms based on the needs and number of participating in-person members.

If you are a Chairman, please respond to me by Wednesday, August 17th, 2022, with the following information about your group's requirements.


  *   Who is meeting?: CCSDS Optical Comm Working Group
  *   When would you like to meet?: Starting Monday Afternoon and Ending Wednesday Afternoon.
  *   Estimate of the number of In-Person Attendees?: 25

The Secretariat will then process the requests and assign rooms based on the identified needs. The plan is for online meeting registration to be deployed by September 1st, 2022.

In the meantime, the Secretariat is preparing the CCSDS Public website with the appropriate logistical information about the meetings and plans to have that deployed no later than Monday, August 15th, 2022.

We have attached a presentation from CNES that provides information about the upcoming meetings. Also attached is the last meeting schedule for the Fall 2019 Technical Meetings.
