Hi Nestor,
In regards to this comment:
CNES comments on MOIMS area:
- Data Entity Dictionary Specificaton Language (DEDSL) - XML Schema : CNES is
said to have editor+prototype responsibility on this project while we are not
aware of a new activity there and it was decided at the last CMC not to conduct a
maintenance of this and other DAI documents ; To be clarified.
There has been a misunderstanding that the DAI documents were not being
maintained and used.
In fact the DAI document re-affirmations were "Approved with Comments". We are
addressing the comments, but we fully desire and expect that all DAI documents
will be re-affirmed.
Also CNES is the primary user of the DEDSL and EAST standards in several projects
and they are continuing active development of the software projects (e.g. BEST &
SIPAD) that are based on these standards.
In regards to this comment:
Due to a very recent reduction of the ESA 2013 standardisation budget, an
adjustment of the allocations to the different areas, including CCSDS projects is
underway. Therefore ESA cannot confirm at this moment the resources refected in
the CCSDS Management Framework in their entirety. ESA can thus only provisionally
confirm the resources and approve the programme of work contained in CWE.
In particular the ESA resources for the following projects need to be re-confirmed:
...
Producer-Archive Interface Specification (PAIS) ESA(P2)
...
We have confirmed with the contractor that they are being funded for this work by
ESA.
Peace and may the odds be with you,
-JOhn
