- let me address your requests.
1) we are currently doing yet another pass to converge the obvious duplicates (but without taking any decision on the definitions)
2) we will provide a better output and send an email to all with a new version more easy to print/edit/...

will follow up to this list in two weeks when both 1) and 2) are done.

Marc.

> As you can see from the attached examples, there is no way (*) of getting all columns printed and this is quite annoying.
> Even assuming that nobody wants to print all those pages, a pdf version can always be useful.......
> Second comment is really about the number of pages (about 160 in portrait, more than 200 in landscape) just to do the second question: what king of review can you expect on this glossary? Should everybody read it line by line or what? :o)

> AOS duplication.
> Nice to have 4 definitions for AOS. The winning one should in principle be that one coming from http://public.ccsds.org/publications/archive/732x0b2.pdf but this is inconsistent with its own FOREWORD but consistent with the acronym on Annex A :o)
> The duplication I like best is the one from http://public.ccsds.org/publications/archive/a30x0g3.pdf where the distinction is made by the full stop.

> It looks as the CCSDS Editor should save some reminders for the future updates to those books. (Sorry, Tom)

> The old, published, CCSDS Glossary was woefully out of date (1997). I did get a JPL staffer to scrape thru all the CCSDS docs circa 2007 and produce an update. This identified a lot of new terms and a lot of redundant terms. More recently the SANA operator, Marc Blanchet, has scraped thru the newer CCSDS docs looking for yet newer terms. This is what is now in the candidate Glossary.

> The SANA Steering Group (SSG) is requesting that each of the WGs take a look at this draft Glossary, which can be found in the SANA website at http://sanaregistry.org/r/glossary/glossary.html, and identify any terms that are already defined and provide any terms that need re-definition. If there are definition collisions we will work with the WGs to sort them out.
