The following draft CCSDS Recommendation has been placed on line for CCSDS 
Agency review:

      CCSDS 732.0-P-1.2.  AOS Space Data Link Protocol.
                          Pink Sheets.  May 2005.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The CCSDS Recommended Standard AOS Space Data Link 
Protocol  specifies the protocol, services, and procedures pertaining to 
the CCSDS Version-2 Transfer Frame.   This draft update proposes 
modifications to the M_PDU header as follows:

-	eliminates the 5-bit Reserved Spare field;
-	defines a new optional 4-bit Virtual Channel Frame Count Cycle field;
-	defines a new mandatory 1-bit VC Frame Count Cycle Use flag.

Note:  for clarity, the markup of the current draft issue 1.2 shows changes 
applied to the issue-1 Blue Book;  markup from the previous draft issue 1.1 
has not been retained.

The due date for receipt of review comments by the Review Coordinator is 
2005-7-15.  Area Directors and WG/BOF Chairs may submit review comments 
directly to the CCSDS Review Coordinator.  More information is available at
