Hi Sami, Peter,

I am still interested in making a 10-15 presentation on the white paper produced by JPL's Lunar PNT study group, at the Lunar Interoperability Forum in May. I was approved to present at the last one, before it was postponed.  A copy of the white paper is attached. The study was the result of a team of a couple dozen of us who met biweekly for a few months to discuss and study relevant technology priorities and architectures for Lunar PNT services, in the context of LunaNet and LNIS.

FYI…

As discussed in today’s standards coordination meeting.  We are planning to organize this Lunar Interoperability Forum to replace the LunaNet session we had scheduled for last F2F meeting.  Most of you will not need to do anything special, but if you have an interest you may wish to participate virtually in some part of it.

Folks,

Attached please find the CCSDS/IOAG Interoperability Forum planning docs we created during today’s meeting.  The aim is to attempt the feat of holding a useful forum on 7 May.  Time is short (no surprise).

There are two docs:

  *   A presentation with the motivation, plan, and expected outcome

     *   Includes a timeline / schedule on the last page

  *   The text for the announcement to be sent out by CCSDS & IOAG and then forwarded by the agencies

We are going to have to scramble to make this happen, and it will take support from all of us, the CCSDS Secretariat, the IOAG, and the US Dept of Commerce.
