Hi Simon,
Generally, figures and equations have been vector images placed in the document, which helps protect them against formatting problems. In Hamburg, we did discuss the equation editor when I sat in with Clemens and SLS-OPT WG, but it isn’t something I have used yet. Equations are technical content and really should be handled by the WG. I was only dealing with it in this case because of the unusual status of the document. The version I found today should make that unnecessary.
Thanks,
Lee

Hi,
This is good news.
Do you use built in “equation editor” in MS Word?

Simon,
I thought I sent this before you’re last email.
I have found another version of the document (Word) that better aligns with the discussion I participated in in Hamburg. I should not have to make such extensive revisions to this document using this version.
Thanks,
Lee

Hi Lee,
Is there MS Word version which can be used instead of converting the pdf? Can you find from the Working Group.
What are you using for correcting the equations in the MS Wor document?
Best regards
