Dear all,

Following my E-mail below, I would like to suggest a minor Technical Corrigendum in the 883 Blue Book version 2, to simply take into account evolutions in SFCG that this CCSDS standard mention to obey to. Currently, 883x0b2 do not cope anymore with the needed SFCG RECs.

The suggested minor Technical Corrigendum would not break interoperability. Please find here attached a draft version of this minor TC.

Thank you so much for sharing any views regarding this minor TC.

Have a nice day; Very Best regards

Jean-Luc

Dear Kevin, dear all,

Please find here attached 2 SFCG recommendations resulting from the SFCG meeting last june, in case you would not have it already:

- REC 32-2R6 (Freqs for lunar Region) which has been updated (this rec is already taken into account by the CCSDS 883 standard).
- REC 43-1, which is a new recommendation dedicated to the protection of lunar in-situ PNT from lunar surface wireless links.

I suggest that references to SFCG REC 43-1 to be added in the CCSDS 883 standard and in any other future CCSDS standard which would concern lunar wireless surface links.

The provisional SFCG REC 43-1 is already refered in LunaNet Interoperability Specifications V5, and REC 43-1 will likely be refered in LNIS V6. The recommended maximum -121 dBW/m2/MHz PFD limit from lunar wireless links in the 2483.5-2500 MHz band at the input of the PNT receive antenna is unchanged from "prov-43-1" to "43-1".

Hoping these informations and my suggestion to be usefull.

Have a nice day and a good summer continuation.

Very Best Regards

Jean-Luc
