Hello Colin,
Off the top of my head I cannot see any impact with the minor restriction of the removal of the AbstractParameter from all classes except ScheduledPkgAssn. I suspect no existing implementations are making use of it? But it does beg the question for SSF as to should we be putting these kind of restrictions against a blue book that is already been adopted and for which there are already conformant schedules being published? I think the question is different for SMURF and SPDF as we are, in some sense, trying to lead the implementations. But for schedules that are already being published I don't think we necessarily need to put any restrictions against current SSF UML/XML schema.
CSSM Colleagues,
Any opinions on this?
Best regards,
-Erik

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [cssm] Updated UML model for BPR SM Level 0 - SSF Blue 1
Dear all,
please find attached the updated UML model for BPR SM Level-0 SSF Blue 1. As discussed at the telecom this now allows for the associations, however (in line with Level-0 being the basic SM functionality) I have removed the AbstractParameter class from all classes except ScheduledPkgAssn where it is required by DSN (at least) to publish its schedule.
If you foresee any problem with removing the AbstractParameter class from the other classes please let me know.
Thanks
Cheers for now,
Colin
