Okay, technically, not the "latest CWE" but rather a much later version of SharePoint. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi Hugh,

I think Phil is correct. In case you missed it, back in the last week of December, the CCSDS techsupport staff sent out a message about having upgraded to the latest CWE. As part of that, we are now all required to deal with 2 factor authentication for logging in. Hopefully you received instructions for the new login procedure (should have been in your inbox somewhere on or after December 27, I think). Please let me know if you did not get those instructions.

Best regards,
-Erik

Hi Hugh,

You need to log in to it with your "@spacecomm.com" login from the new CWE, not your own microsoft login. You may need to open the link in an 'Incognito'/'Private' window to achieve this without explicitly logging out of your own microsoft account first.

A consequence of everyone using now microsoft, but every organisation managing logins themselves (because it's easiest for the sysadmins that way.)

Cheers,

CSSM Colleagues,

I have added a few comments to the draft BRP book. Given the new capabilities of the upgraded CWE, I have taken the liberty of placing a working copy in the CWE and then editing directly via SharePoint online. The working copy can be found via: https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/sites/CSS/Shared%20Documents/CSS-SM/CWE%20Private/Book%20Production/Magenta/Best%20Practices/White%20Book/Drafts/902x11w01-BPR-20241220-WorkingDraft.docx?d=w1ffde3be0c07403190468bf2088c6352<https://urldefense.us/v3/__https:/spacecomm.sharepoint.com/sites/CSS/Shared*20Documents/CSS-SM/CWE*20Private/Book*20Production/Magenta/Best*20Practices/White*20Book/Drafts/902x11w01-BPR-20241220-WorkingDraft.docx?d=w1ffde3be0c07403190468bf2088c6352__;JSUlJSU!!PvBDto6Hs4WbVuu7!JlXUGl4BsuMgPW7-Empsm8VkXnTRAbICXHcFbdlHEDRTw97XGezgef7zwVUNDJ0sexLrDredVrTCHhR7qwPp2nmxEg$>

This copy also includes the comments that were added by Martin Unal. We will discuss making the best use of the new SharePoint capabilities at the upcoming teleconference (now scheduled for January 28). In the meantime, I'd like to request that if you want to provide comments that you please do so via the working copy in SharePoint/CWE. I think that ultimately this can cut down on having to download and upload files and manually merge, etc.

Best regards,

-Erik

Hello

I have added few comments in the document.

I join a summary table I have created to track the field amongs various product.

  * The definition of Version is problematic. The implementation cost to populate the field has defined is used. For no benefit.

The description shall be changed to be a recommandation only

  *   SMURF update/delete

Reference to the mission agreement can cause inconsitency between request.

  *   Service type and parameter.

I expect lots of discrepancy between implementations here. Two fields can convey information on that regards

  * serviceAgreementRef Used by ESTRACK to define service type (e.g. DDOR, TTC)
  * <onlineSrvPkgType1Details configurationProfileRef Used by ESTRACK to define service parameter (e.g. TM_RATE)

Shall we include a recommandation on how to cover that topic ? But we would have to agree on one.

Or we highlight the fact this aspect is out of the “simple SMURF” and shall be covered by bilateral agreement.

Happy new year to all. 😊

Regards

Dear all,

               as a special Christmas present for the W/G (especially Martin)  I've just uploaded the initial draft of the Best Practises Service Management Level-0 Initial to CWE, this will give you something to do over the long boring Christmas holidays (🙂 🙂 🙂). This is a zip file containing the Word document and XML examples along with the required schemas to validate the examples. This can be found at the following URL;

  *   902x11-BPR W/G Pack: https://cwe.ccsds.org/css/docs/CSS-SM/CWE%20Private/Book%20Production/Magenta/Best%20Practices/White%20Book/Drafts/902x11w01-BPR-20241220-CRH_WG_Pack.zip<https://urldefense.us/v3/__https:/cwe.ccsds.org/css/docs/CSS-SM/CWE*20Private/Book*20Production/Magenta/Best*20Practices/White*20Book/Drafts/902x11w01-BPR-20241220-CRH_WG_Pack.zip__;JSUlJQ!!PvBDto6Hs4WbVuu7!N46rRkc-bcv6zLP9GB8U1vqd4Ao_yc1EtLdV6peRlmU_86X8r1QYIa42byZYEskNsQC57Ql7OiefAjDxaGRv2oYfNw$>

In addition I've created a GitHub release with the UML models and XML examples and schemas. This can be found at the following URL;

  *   902x11-BPR GitHub release: https://github.com/CCSDS-CSSM/902Repository/releases/tag/WG_Release-20241220<https://urldefense.us/v3/__https:/github.com/CCSDS-CSSM/902Repository/releases/tag/WG_Release-20241220__;!!PvBDto6Hs4WbVuu7!N46rRkc-bcv6zLP9GB8U1vqd4Ao_yc1EtLdV6peRlmU_86X8r1QYIa42byZYEskNsQC57Ql7OiefAjDxaGR6l_LgGQ$>

I'd appreciate any feedback, especially from Martin and Phil as they're already effectively using the precursor to SM Level-0 operationally.

Merry Christmas 🎅🎄❄️🎁& A Happy New Year 🎆🎇🍾to One & All
