[Smwg] NIST registration confirmation

CSSM Colleagues,

At the CSSM teleconference today it was noted that some of the participants from outside the United States have yet to receive their confirmation emails from NIST (you may wish to recall that visitors to NIST need to also be registered with this facility to attend the spring 2018 meetings). I contacted the CCSDS Secretariat, and below is the email that I received. Apparently almost everyone should be in good shape whether or not they have received a registration confirmation email. If you would like to verify, it appears that the CCSDS secretary can verify NIST registration for you  although the secretariat cannot send the email confirmation.

Hello Erik,

We are aware that many have not received registration confirmation, but as the emails are sent automatically by NIST, there is little we can do. If you are aware of any individuals who need confirmation that their registration was successful, I can provide it. Right now there are only 5 individuals who have completed CCSDS registration, but have not registered with NIST.

Hello Michael, David,

At the CSSM WG teleconference today it was noted that several participants who are not US citizens have registered with NIST quite some time ago but have yet to receive any registration confirmation email.   I have also seen this in some CESG email traffic.  Can you offer any insight about this?
