[SLS] Area Plenary on 9 November (for your archives)

Dear All,
        this is a short summary of the Area Plenary held on 9 November 
mainly for your archives.
I recorded the following WG attendance:
RFM     Enrico
C&S     Massimo & Ken
SLP     Greg & Matt
SDLS    Gilles
MHDC    Aaron
OPT     Bernie

Attached you find the material "as presented and discussed" yesterday.
I plan to distribute an update soon (including MHDC report, updated SDLS 
report, and any improvement we can identify) with the aim of a finalised 
report (at least for the main pages) by the end of the week for the 
eventual CESG Meeting on Monday 16 November.

A further update is planned for the joint CMC+CESG Meeting planned for 
Tuesday 1st December.
