[Sls-slp] Request RED-2 Agency Review of 235.1

Dear SLP WG member,

As a result of our SLP WG meeting in Matera, IT yesterday, the SLP WG came to consensus on the updates to the 235.1 Space Comm Session Control Book based upon the RID resolutions from the RED-1 agency review.

Now that we have made some further progress and changes at this meeting (e.g., allowing for secure SDLS P-frames that are not PLCWs due to the SDLS order of processing issue), and because we still need to interoperability test this latest version of 235.1, I recommend that we simultaneously go to a RED-2 Agency Review of 235.1.

This issue will be discussed in the joint-SLS area meeting today (Wed. Oct 21, 2026) in Matera, IT.
