Dear SLP WG,

Please see Clemens' email below requesting information about implementations of CCSDS standards. If you agency has publicly available implementations that are not already on the website below, please let me know.

Best regards,

Dear SLS WG Chairs,
To improve the visibility and adoption of CCSDS standards, I would like to ask each SLS Working Group to investigate whether there are publicly accessible implementations of its Blue Books that could be listed on the CCSDS implementations page:

CCSDS Software Implementations<https://ccsds.org/implementations/software/>

The intent is not to endorse specific implementations, but rather to provide the community with references to software, firmware, FPGA/ASIC IP, HDL designs, libraries, tools, and demonstrators that implement CCSDS standards and are publicly available.
As an example, for CCSDS 142 Optical Communications Coding and Synchronization, we have recently added two open-source VHDL/Verilog implementations to the CCSDS implementations page.

Could you please review the Blue Books maintained by your WG and identify any publicly accessible implementations that could be listed? For each implementation, it would be helpful to provide:

  *   Name of the implementation

  *   Relevant CCSDS Blue Book(s)

  *   URL

  *   Short description (1-2 sentences)

  * Organisation or project maintaining it

Please include software libraries, reference implementations, open-source projects, FPGA/HDL cores, protocol stacks, test tools, and operational implementations that are publicly accessible.

I would appreciate receiving any candidate implementations before the Fall CCSDS meeting so that we can coordinate an update of the CCSDS implementations page.

Many thanks for your support.

Best regards,

Clemens / SLS-AD
