** I have added the draft 235.1 work in progress book as well now. **

Telecon Agenda:

  1.
Demand vs Query/Response proposed requirements in 235.1 Section 5.1
  2.
Link establishment, comm change, link termination examples - informative annex - to be modified
  3.
How AOS Frames are now transferred across the Prox-1 link - Set Fixed-Length Frame directive
  4.
MODCOD overlay bit - a "slight of hand" that allows/prohibits the Modulation and Coding fields to be treated as one composite integer value in the LEC directive.
  5.
Directive Re-organization and Upgrade - 235.1 Annex B (now B1), E (now B2) - For directive backward compatibility and more operable directive selection via directive tables. Radios could support multiple directive tables.
  6.
Ranging - how it impacts 211.1 (RF&MOD) and 211.0 state tables
  7.
Interoperability testing ?

I'd like to get your comments on the changes I've made to the following Prox-1 related documents. If you don't have time or are allowed to review them, that's OK. I want to at least speak to you about why I made them and see if you agree/disagree.

The books are the usual suspects: 1) P1 RF&MOD (which Dennis Lee now has), 2) P1 C&S (which Nicola and Andrea have concurred on the few changes), 3) P1 data link layer (mostly reorganization), and 4) Session Control [P1 data services] - this is where it gets a lot more interesting. (added Ranging, added directive tables meaning a transceiver could select/query/demand the directive set, specified link negotiation (query), added informative annex with link est, comm change, link termination use cases in directive form, added a hook into SPDU Type 1 directives to allow for Query as well as switch to other directive tables, etc... I hope I got your interest piqued.

Attached are the first 3 books. I am working on the 4th and will email later this week.
Like I said don't feel compelled to look at them if you don't have the time/funding. It's the discussion that's most useful to me.

Thanks - Greg
