Subject: References to Proximity-1 vs proximity links in 235.1 PN Ranging Directive
Hi Dennis and RF&M WG,
SLP WG received a RID from ESA on 235.1 warning us to be mindful of the difference between Prox-1 vs proximity links. SLP WG is going through the document to ensure correct usage of those terms.
I found 6 references to Proximity-1 in the PN Ranging Directive in CCSDS 235.1 and I noted down why I think it should either continue to say "Proximity-1" or be changed to "proximity link". We would appreciate it if the RF&MOD WG could review the attached file and provide the correct interpretation for the PN Ranging directive.
Thanks much,
Greg K.
SLP WG chair
