Thanks for this nifty diagram, Nicola.

I just have a few comments.


  1.
Technically, RFM is a layer but Sync and Channel Coding as well as the Space Data Link Protocol are sublayers of the data link layer.
  2.
Concerning the note on the bottom right, I propose a rewording:


FROM: Note: With the proper selection of parameters, the bottom layer becomes equivalent to the Proxy-1 Physical Layer so making it a CCSDS Proximity-1 Stack


TO: Note: With the proper selection of parameters, the Physical layer becomes compliant with the Prox-1Physical Layer equivalent to a CCSDS Proximity-1 Stack

As you may remember, during the CCSDS Technical Meeting last week we agreed on 1 action to draw a picture of the different stacks that can be configured via the 235.1 procedure.
