Attached please find the following draft white books for the division of Prox-1 (211.0-B) into 3 separate books.
I’ve place these into our Spring meeting folder as well. Recommendations:

Definition of PLCW and CLCW should be removed from Proximity-1 SDLP and TC SDLP, respectively; both data units should be specified in a new document (their application being not limited to COPs).

Callout of PLCW should be changed from "Proximity Link Control Word" to "Protocol Link Control Word" (just as CLCW was changed from "Command Link Control Word" to "Communications Link Control Word" to make it not specific to TC).

Rationale: If USLP is ever going to replace existing protocols, it can’t be reliant on them.

In addition, Tom thinks an argument could be made for vaguely categorizing CLCW/PLCW/SPDU as denizens of Layer-5 to justify moving their definitions en masse into the new session-control book.
