The specification is of satisfactory quality for me. I therefore vote to go Red-1.

Subject: [Sls-slp] Polling SLP WG for USLP Red-1 Transition

Dear SLP WG Members,
By now I believe there has been ample time to review and compare the latest USLP White book dated April 26 with previous redlined versions.
So now I ask you to email me and the SLP distribution list to let us know if this April 26 version is good enough i.e., of sufficient quality to go to Red-1 status. By good enough I mean certainly not perfect but on the other hand not having so many errors that the RID process would overwhelm us.

If we obtain consensus, I will ask our area director to generate a resolution to the CESG/CMC for approval to Red-1. Then I will work with Tom Gannett to turn the book around in time so that an Agency review can take place with the goal of concluding it before the Rome meeting.

Please respond by or before May 13

Best Regards,
Greg Kazz
Chairman SLP WG
