Dear SLP WG,

Given the need to update this GB due to the soon to be out of date information about the security question associated with the CCSDS link layer protocols mentioned in my previous email, it is best to call on all of you to participate in a general review of the entire Space Data Link Protocols GB.

Since at least some of the new material is relevant to security, I also invite the SDSL WG to participate in this review as well.

The plan forward is:

1.     I will create a new project in the CWE to address the update to 130.2-G-2.
2.     We will indentify all changes needed to this GB by the Fall 2014 meeting in London
3.     At the London meeting, we will finalize on the changes and I will generate a resolution to the AD to allow publication of Version 3 of this GB concurrent with the publication of the first issue of the SDLS BB.
Please let me know if you have any comments or concerns with this plan forward.
