The Communications -TT&C Systems and Techniques Section of the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management is pleased to announce the Fifth Workshop on Tracking, Telemetry and Command Systems for Ground and Space Applications, TTC 2010, which will be held from the 21st to the 23rd of September 2010 at the European Space Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

OBJECTIVES OF THE TTC 2010 WORKSHOP
The aim of the TTC 2010 Workshop is to assemble an international forum where TTC equipment designers, systems developers, added value system suppliers, operators, experts, universities and space agencies can openly discuss their ideas, share their experiences and formulate challenges to be met. The workshop will offer an overview of the technologies in use or in development.

ABSTRACTS REQUEST/TOPICS
Abstracts of original papers are solicited for inclusion in the workshop programme. The papers could range from research work or description of new system concepts to innovative technologies in design, testing, validation or operation of systems/subsystems.

The following topics will be used as guidance for the workshop development:
1. Ground Antennas and RF Systems
2. On Board TTC Technology
3. Digital Signal Processing in TTC Systems
4. Modulation and Coding Technology
5. Spacecraft Tracking and Ranging Techniques
6. Standardization, Interfaces and Protocols
7. Security and Reliability in TTC Systems
8. Radioscience
9. Optical TTC Systems
10. Novel TT&C architectures

CALENDAR OF EVENTS
1st February 2010         Abstract submission deadline
15th April 2010                     Authors notification and preliminary programme
15th July 2010                Final papers due
