Dear Gilles, Howie et al.

In order to support the planned Webex I have placed the last update of the
Green Book at the CWE:

http://cwe.ccsds.org/sls/docs/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2fsls%2fdocs%2fSLS%2dSEA%2dDLS%2fCWE%20Private%2fmeeting%20material%2fJune%2024th%202016%20Webex&FolderCTID=&View=%7b16ACDA38%2dFFA3%2d4657%2d8F27%2dB166C23C24A2%7d

If the weblink does not work you can see below a picture identifying the
location of the file.

The following shall be noted on this update:

On core document, new text or text pending revision is highlighted in yellow.
Without being exhaustive, the following sections and sub-sections include
changes and/or new text
- Foreword
- Document Control
- 1.5 References
- 2.2 Motivation
- 3.3 Protocol Position in CCSDS
- 3.3.1 Telecommand
- 3.3.2 Telemetry
- 3.3.3 Advanced Orbiting Systems
- 3.5.1.1 Clear Mode Management
- 3.5.2 Managed Parameters
- 3.5.3 Signaling, Monitoring and Control
- 3.5.6 Telecommand
- 3.5.7 Telemetry
- 3.5.8 Advanced Orbiting Systems
- 4.2 Generic Operation
- 4.3.1 Cryptographic Key Synchronization (update on previous draft not yet
reviewed or I forgot to remove the highlight since I seem to recall having
discussed the sub-section on a previous meeting)
- 4.3.3 Sequence Count Synchronization (update on previous draft not yet
reviewed or I forgot to remove the highlight since I seem to recall having
discussed the sub-section on a previous meeting)
- 4.4 SDL Protocol Baseline Implementations (change of title)
- 4.4.1 Telecommand
- 4.4.2 Telemetry
- 4.4.3 Advanced Orbiting Systems

Updates of Annex A (completion) and Annex E (inclusion of TM aspects) are
still pending. I will continue working on those during this week.

In order to better identify the areas for review and avoid being lost by the
amount of previous changes I recommend setting the document in 'Show Markup'
mode but deselecting all review items except 'comments'. You can also set it
in 'Final' but you will not see the comments. And the comments can help for
both the review and the discussion during the Webex.

A check of the last version of the 'CCSDS Publications Manual' made me
question whether we had or have to decide between American or British
English. We are supposed to be consistent with the choice throughout the
document and I suspect this is not the case.

Kind regards,

Ignacio
