Hi Oliver,

I am doing well and I trust the same is true of you.

Your assumptions are correct. See email I sent to Ignacio and Gilles last
November.

Regards, Enrico

Enrico,

I hope you are doing well.

I was reviewing the CCSDS Charters area today and noticed that the SLS-RFM
charter is in “Pending Status” from an update made late last year.
https://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/Lists/Charters/DispForm.aspx?ID=31
It appears the changes were the addition of goals 21-24.

Typically, we have the CMC review and approve changes to the Charter via a
CMC poll whenever we deem necessary.

I am going to assume these changes require CMC approval unless you feel
otherwise.

Thanks,

Brian Oliver

Dear Ignacio and Gilles,

as per RFM WG meeting agreement, I updated the RFM charter to include 4
more items in the 401 book. The items are 21-24 and can be seen with
revision marks in the Word document attached.

I understand that you have to issue a resolution for CMC to approve the
changes.

You could state that:

Considering that the RFM WG agreed at the Fall 2021 meeting that work is
needed to:

1) Propose changes to Proximity Physical BB (211x1b4) relating to
channel frequencies, modulations, and requirements from future
Martian/Lunar scenarios;
2) Address requirements of Position, Navigation and Time (PNT)
related to the Lunar environment in cooperation with CCSDS NAV WG and
SFCG, and issue relevant recommendations covering frequency bands,
modulations, etc.;
3) Prepare green book material to address project issues on filtering
implementation to comply with SFCG spectral mask recommendation 21-2R4;
4) Study phase noise including both transmitters and receivers for
space-to-space links and lunar surface equipment.

the SLS resolves that the above 4 items are included in the RFM WG
charter.

Thanks in advance, Enrico
