Dear Nestor,

I agree with the comments expressed by some of the other WG chairs. The 
Wiki may end up duplicating what's already available in CCSDS blue and 
green books and possibly be out of synch with them.

Speaking as ESA staff, our management has been steadily reducing the 
standardization budget and we have problems in fulfilling the projects ESA 
had agreed to support. I do not see how additional resources could be made 
available for a task like Wiki given that we are already delaying many 
more important CCSDS activities.

If the CCSDS secretariat volunteered to transform what's included in 
approved books into Wiki, I would support it.

The CMC placed upon the CESG Chairs the following action 

CMC-A-2014-11-20 
The CESG Chair was asked to confer with WG chairs and check their 
endorsement of the wiki forum approach. 

Action: CESG Chair 
Due Date: Spring 2015 CMC meeting 
Status: Open


The wiki's main goal is to help the public with access to information 
about CCSDS technology. This will evolve into a customer support tool for 
users of CCSDS standards. 

The link for the WIKI home page can be found of the Management Framework: 
http://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/ 

The WIKI Forum (be aware that there isn?t an official forum yet) is here: 
http://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/wiki/SitePages/Home.aspx 

If no response from the WG chairs / deputy chairs is received by mid March 
2015. it is assumed that you fully support the wiki initiative
