[SLS-OPT] Minutes of OPT WG teleconference

I have posted the minutes of today’s meeting in CWE, under Monthly Telecons, and attached it here. Today’s meeting was the last one before the face-to-face meeting in Puerto Rico.

Here is a (noncomprehensive) list of actions to take before the face-to-face meeting:


  *   Please register for the face-to-face meeting, even if you plan to attend virtually
  *   Nicolo to reimplement his suggested updates to 142 book using the published Word version as starting point (Jon will get this from editors)
     *   After this, Jon will reimplement the GFP pink sheets in this document, for one combined input to approve at May meeting
  *   Dariush/Andre to complete octet streaming prototypes and Yellow Book, for discussion at May meeting
  *   Brice to complete his recommendations regarding changes to coherent strawman proposal for presentation at May meeting
  *   Bryan to complete pilot / CSM analysis, to help inform whether CSM can be omitted
  *   Bryan to analyze loss due to frequency noise mask
  *   Geraldine to develop in-band signaling proposal
  *   All members to let Jon know of conflicts for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday meeting dates at May meeting
  *   Jon to distribute tentative May meeting agenda, with days assigned
  *   Gianluca to let Jon know title of agency presentation on DLR optical activities at May meeting
  *   Geraldine/Gianluca to confer about status of time series and confirming its adequacy for our purposes
  *   Clemens to provide a Blue cake for the Working Group at the May meeting; or maybe a Pink sheet-cake. 😊
