Dear SLS WG chairs,

The SLS AD handover with Ignacio is completed now and during the spring
meeting I had the pleasure to meet most of you already in person.
I would like to take the occasion to brief you on some discussions from
last weeks CESG meeting:

  *
A *priority list* has been established for the *editor queue* and
priority has been given to mission pull.

  *
A *tiger team* (Jim Lux - SEA AD, Matt Cosby SEA DAD, Clemens Heese
SLS AD) will start a *revision of the Yellow Book A02 *with the goals to
      o
*speed up* book elaboration and *publication* (poll and
        resolutions system, ...).
      o
align the CCSDS publication process to a business workflow we
        are used to in 2025.

  *
A *LunaNet SIG* (special interest group) will be initiated by SLS to
    bundle LunaNet standardization needs.
    (separate email will come)

  *
We will invite representatives of the *Gnuradio SDR community* to
    Hamburg (Fall ’25 meeting) to
      o
discuss their potential involvement in *prototyping for
CCSDS* to speed up book publishing.
      o
improving CCSDS engagement and acceptance within the *new
        space* community.

Please share the information with your WGs as you see appropriate.
Looking forward to collaboration with you and the other areas!

Regards,

Clemens
