[Sls-ngu] Addition of CC(7, 1/2) code to CCSDS TC Standard - proposal

Dear NGU WG members,

I have added to the CWE under the URL: http://tinyurl.com/4k9ryfw
the proposal to add the CCSDS CC(7,1/2) code to the CCSDS TC standard.

Note that this proposal changes the following sections in the current TC Sync and CC standard (CCSDS 231.0-B-2):


 1.  Updated section 3.5 BCH decoding procedure
 2.  New Section 4 - (Basic) Convolutional Coding – Almost verbatim from the TM Sync and CC book
 3.  Updated section 7.2.2 Acquisition Sequence
 4.  Updated section 7.2.4 Idle sequence

This topic is planned to be discussed during the joint C&S/NGU WG meetings on Monday PM – May 16, 2011 in Berlin.
