From David.Evans at esa.int Tue Nov 27 16:19:59 2018 From: David.Evans at esa.int (David.Evans at esa.int) Date: Tue, 27 Nov 2018 17:19:59 +0100 Subject: [Sls-mhdc] CNES test data prepared for 124 testing Message-ID: <10023_1543335599_5BFD6EAF_10023_158_1_OF0BA5B675.8E175071-ONC1258352.0058D0F7-C1258352.0059B83A@esa.int> Dear working group, I have split the files provided by CNES for the 124 testing. They are available in the 124.0-B/Test_Data/Jason and 124.0-B/Test_Data/PUS directories on CWE private. The files are split so that each file is named as "mission_APID_packet length in bytes". The preliminary tests I did showed compression rations varied considerably according to packet type for the Jason data - I suspect some of it is payload data - the largest packet was compressing with a average ratio of 4. The PUS data was compressing much better with ratios of 10 - 20, @Mark, I see you have loaded some data from Icecube, Thank you! I do not understand the format though or the readme file explanation. Is a binary where each packet follows the next file? Could you give me some more info please. Best regards, Dave This message is intended only for the recipient(s) named above.
