Please take care when clicking links or opening attachments. Use the "Report Message" button to report suspicious messages to the NASA SOC. Dear CESG-All Members, As we prepare for the Spring 2025 Technical Meetings at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, MD, the CCSDS Secretariat needs to compile a meeting schedule that will accommodate the needs of each Area, WG, BoF, or SSG who plan to meet in person. The CCSDS Technical Meetings will be a 5 Day event from 9-13 June. The Secretariat believes it is best to poll the CESG-All to request the needs of each group that will be meeting. This will allow us to better schedule and assign rooms as well as virtual tools needed based on the needs and number of participating. If you are a Chairperson, please respond to me by Monday, 24 March, 2025 with the following information about your group's requirements (please follow the template shown): * Which working group is meeting?: CCSDS Optical Comm Working Group * When would you like to meet?: 0845-1245, 0845-1730, 1230-1730 and days required (i.e. Mon-Wed, Mon-Fri, Tuesday only) * Estimate of the number of In-Person Attendees?: 25 * All joint meetings need to be accounted for properly, therefore, please provide headcount numbers and names of the working groups who will be meeting as best as possible. * If you anticipate your schedule remaining the same as your Fall 2024 meeting schedule, please advise. The Secretariat will then process the requests and assign rooms based on the identified headcount needs as APL is able to provide conference/breakout rooms for each group. The plan is for online meeting registration to be deployed late April. Please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to seeing you in June! Please note that there are a couple of minor, pending questions about the 123.0-B-3 header semantics and format at https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com//sites/SLS/Shared Documents/SLS-MHDC/CWE Private/123.0-B-3/20241201_report_notes_on_fall2024_red_book.pdf . They are not likely to affect the output of the tests, but it might be useful to bear in mind in case a mismatch is found. A description of the test format and expected output is described in the accompanying documentation. As usual, any doubts and comments are most welcome.
